Zara Brown offers Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, head massage, relaxing massage and foot exfoliation from her clinic at Kelso Health and Wellness.

 

Kelso Massage Therapy is run by Zara Brown. She offers appointments in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, relaxing massage, head massage and foot exfoliation (including massage) at her clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On your first visit, Zara will offer a sit-down consultation to help her understand you and your body’s needs. This helps to identify the best treatment after which, you can get started straight away.

what is Swedish massage therapy and what can it do for my body?

Swedish massage therapy is a lovely complementary therapy. It involves soft, long, kneading strokes as well as light, rhythmic tapping strokes on the topmost layers of muscles. These techniques aim to promote relaxation by releasing muscle tension. Swedish therapy can be both relaxing and energising.

  • Deep tissue (same as Swedish but a lot more pressure applied) 
  • Relaxing massage  
  • Head massage & mini facial using hot towels 
  • Foot exfoliation (massage included)

Kelso Massage Therapy offers appointments with Zara Brown at Kelso Health and Wellness. She has spaces available on Tuesdays (between 11am and 2.45pm and between 4.45pm and 9pm) and on Thursdays (between 11am and 6.30pm).

A mobile service is also available. Please contact Zara directly for days and times available, including weekends.

Prices are as for in-clinic treatments and with an extra cost of £5-£8 to cover travel.

aBOUT ZARA BROWN

Zara studied with Scottish Massage Schools Edinburgh and holds a diploma in Swedish Massage Therapy. The diploma was very in-depth – as well as learning massage techniques, a huge part of the course covered the anatomy and physiology of the human body. This knowledge is very important and helps Zara to provide the best treatment for you – whether you have a dull ache or an injury or you are simply looking for some relaxation time.

Zara Brown is a member of the Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation.
